MAYOR THARPE DETERMINED TO STABILIZE MATILDAVILLE’S FINANCIAL CRISIS
MATILDAVILLE (October, 2013) - Mayor Tharpe has recently announced that the city of Matildaville is over $160 million in debt. Our group of Economic Researchers and Policy Analysts have conducted extensive research to find the solution to Matildaville's debt. We have decided to locate the New York Dump Site, Steve Brown Productions, and the Grey Housing Development on the late Ms. Grey's 96 acres of undeveloped land. With these entities, we are determined that they will bring Matildaville back from this financial burden and strive to better the city as a whole.
The first entity the New York Dump Site is 18 acres, and will be built and maintained by the city of New York. By locating the dump site here, Matildaville will be receiving $15 million each year and will pay a huge portion of their debt within the first year.
Steve Brown Production is 70 acres that will create a well-known production company all over the world. The Steve Brown Production company being stationed here will bring the city millions of dollars over a five year period. Matildaville will be well-known for their movie industry and attract variety of audiences from children to adults to visit. There will be many jobs available and it will provide great experiences for people who want to pursue a career in the movie industry. Instead of destroying Steve Brown Production in five years, it can be a local tourist spot to the city of Matildaville.
By using these three entities, Matildaville will be out of debt and continue to prosper. Not only is Matildaville creating business or relationships within the community but outside of it. Matildaville will be taking care of all their citizens including the low-income residents, and prioritize to ensure that Matilldaville will be the city it once was.
